Training reins with central connection, this model attaches to the harness's D-ring using the included carabiner. A connector regulator is also included for adjusting and extending the length of the rein.
Training reins with lateral connection, this model can be attached in two places either to the side rings of the saddle with carabiners or it can be attached to the girth with connector regulators without carabiners. Carabiners and connector regulators are included.
Training reins for jumping, this model is attached with a carabiner, which is incorporated into the rein, directly to the ring on the front bridle/martingale on the horse's chest. The distance from the bit to the front bridle/martingale ring should be between 45 and 60 cm.
SCHARF FREEDOM The Soft Rein is available in three different beautiful colors;
Black, Chocolate and Anti-slip.
SCHARF FREEDOM The soft rein comes with a standard setting of the coach rings, which immediately matches the chosen length of the rein and the size of the horse. It is important that the coach rings are always placed parallel to each other. To adjust the total length of the reins, place them on the horse; Open the buckle that separates the two reins (guide the reins through the bite rings on each side, from the inside out) and then close the buckle again. With the horse's neck well stretched, the end of the reins should reach the front edge of the saddle. Attach the carabiner to the D-ring. Adjust the length of the reins from the connector regulator (where it is attached to the girth) until the desired length is reached. This can be done as often as necessary.
The purpose of the jumping rein is to control the horse's action while preventing the horse from lifting its head inappropriately, but does NOT prevent the horse from stretching its neck and head during the jump. The jumping model must be used with its own front bridle/martingale. The rein is always attached with the carabiner.
SCHARF The Freedom Soft reins can be used in all disciplines due to their unique characteristics.
Dressage, jumping, eventing, distance, racing, western, touring and leisure riding, cart driving, working from the ground and Icelandic riding.
The rein is unique for its soft contact, great control without the risk of over-bending, the comfort of only having to wear one rein and the fact that the rein “fits” the horse's mouth and minimizes the risk of accidental injury.
“Control, stability, lightness and quality with a good grip are all what I get, in one and the same rein, as I develop in my training. SCHARF The Freedom soft rein gives the horse optimal freedom, and the horse can move freely. With the rein you can still ride your normal everyday training without it getting in the way. It is made of strong, nice and soft material, which makes it feel good in the hand. For me, it helps me a lot that I can concentrate on the more difficult parts of the training, because the horse cannot lift its head completely. It can be adjusted in several settings, depending on needs and training.
I suffer from pain and problems in my left shoulder after a riding accident and this rein is fantastic! I can now ride without pain afterwards, and I can practice many more exercises than ever before. It is a rein that gives the rider optimal support and the horse a lot of freedom of movement in front.”
